Ceph Storage PoolsΒΆ

On a system that uses a Ceph storage backend, kube-rbd pool PVCs are configured on the storage hosts.

StarlingX uses up to three pools for the Ceph backend:

  • kube-rbd

  • kube-cephfs-data

  • kube-cephfs-metadata
